The mighty Oak
Now that the FFFF is over thought I'd post a pic I took in the fall.
Just couldn't get it without that sunspot though..
This is the Oak in our backyard...we planted it the year we bought the house.
It was then about 4' high. It's a Red Oak & boy does it grow fast.

Beautiful tree, so how many years ago was that?

I want to know too, Betty. Must be a lot of acorns decorating its base, Pansy. Loverly tree!
That's the thing about hudging—don't get to exhibit our own favourite pics till after.
Mine have been at Boblaws photo shop for almost 3 weeks. Y'know, a place that processes film within an hour.

Dunno. I lost track too. It's been awhile since I've even gone near the stile.... BUT! Since you have the handy dandy cornbroom at the ready, I'll let you sweep right in. laf!

I conjecture it's MY turn then, Mz SQWAWK!!![for short]. Better not be any goose droppings burning thru the hoar frost. Highly acidic. Baaaa-aaaad for the wood ultimately. nyuks

Beauty tree! Yes, how old? My oaks are the slowest pokes of all my trees, no size to any of them yet.
