Re: Shocking Surprise!
Looks like they are year-round in your area....but then they probably wouldn't be seen much in highly populated areas....

Re: Shocking Surprise!
Thanks everyone!
I was so shocked that my heart was in my throat and I was too scared to call out to hubby to come and see. Also couldn't breath for hours afterwards! *LOL*
Laura that is also my favourite. *S*
Ron if I had used one of my Minoltas (which aren't made any more), you wouldn't have known. *LOL*
Cheers,
Kathy

Speaking of Minoltas Kathy, I got my dads old kit last week hoping that the glass could be used on a Sony dSLR. I am told NO on the photo forum. Tis a damn shame that Minolta/Sony changed the mounts & made the lenses obsolete.

Ron.

Ron if I'm not mistaken, it was Konica that bought Minolta out, not Sony.

Yes & no. Minolta & Konica merged & then were in turn taken over by Sony. Later Minolta glass will fit on Sony dSLR's but it seems not what is in dad's kit.
I will take the kit to Henry's & see what they have to say. I would not mind having to focus manually if there is an adapter available.
