Lunch Sat 29 Nov

I'm off to brave the traffic and the crowds.
But I was busy this morning making a lentil soup and also a Shepherd's Pie with leftovers from the prime rib we had a couple of days ago. The Shepherd's Pie just needs popping in the oven for about 20 mins or so to heat through and brown, which will give me time to prepare some veg.

We just came back from a long walk through snow covered fields & that soup sure looks good.

I always have a variety of home made soup in the freezer. I stopped using canned soup because of the sodium and the home made tastes so much better.

I had never been a big soup fan until I tasted homemade... It really is a completely different meal than canned soup.
