It is so heavy
I shovel a foot then inside to rest, another foot then rest. Half water, half snow. it weighs a ton
Police says it is all ice underneath but I need to go out, work
I am so out of breath and my lungs hurt and this is my 5th day no smokes. I am so disappointed. I thought I would breath better when I quit.
Another storm coming tomorrow

This is my drivway. I am hoping the all drive will take me out

It's going to take more than 5 days for your lungs to get any better BF. But they surely will as each day you don't smoke goes by.

Hang in there Butterfly - you can do it. I'm sure it will get easier. Wow - you really got dumped on!

Run your car up and down the lane (with you behind the wheel) once or thrice, BF. You have snow tires. Let them do the work.
Interesting tracks in snow in last shot. What WAS that?

Re: It is so heavy
I finally got out of the drivway all up hill but the snow plow roll hung me up even with 4 wheel drive
My neihbour heard me spinning in mid air and gave me a good shove off it and away I went to the bus station, cold, holy cow that wind is bitter
The tracks.. Mare. I spent the most of afteroon watching 3 doe playing around in the snow and eating the apples from the tree and digging in the garden for supper I still have carrots, parsnips and chard in the garden
I got a few pics I will post a bit later
The poor deer were tryiing to get to the river. They have a path through my place and through the trees but they could not get through and over the bank to the river because the snow is so heavy it pulled the branches to the ground blocking their way

Re: It is so heavy
Congrats on your smoking stoppage, BF. I gave up years ago, after only smoking for 5 years. It took longer to quit than to start, that's for sure. I remember how difficult it was, even now, 40 years after quitting. I sure did feel better though, could do more exercise without gasping and wheezing.
It may take 6 months to a year before you really see a difference, but please do persist. Lung cancer is scary; a friend of mine just died with it.....not a pretty way to go.
Your road is lovely, like mine. Wish you didn't need to go out on snowy days though!

TB
I had a work appointment which the mom cancelled. said laffing her hubby had too much snow to shovel and he was cranky, lol , lol they rebooked for wed night but we have anoher storm coming tomorrow and wed
I was quitr happy they cancelled.
I smoked for 45 years so this is not easy for me beleive me and yes I am looking forward to breathing better when ever.
But doc said the lung damage is alreay there and can't be reversed.
Darm I wish we had the education about smoking many years ago like they have now
