Re: Supper Dec. 09
Aw, gee you eat well, Ron! For sup tonight we had canned sardines on crackers, neither of us was hungry after leftover spaghetti at lunchtime.
I do enjoy eyeballing your meals though.....makes me feel almost satisfied, even after my fishy cracker meal.

I didnt ever think of gravey on rice but I love gravey and it looks good
Gravey would keep in the freezer would it not?
I could make a big pot full and freeze it for the next meals Yum

Re: Supper Dec. 09
Another goodie Ron! It looks absolutely delicious and tasty!
I ran out of ideas, and hauled a couple of pork chops out of the freezer at around 4 o'clock. There were 6 sprouts left, a few snap peas, and some tommytoes.
It was OK, but yours looks tastier and moister!

Talking about sardines - when I was in my early 20s, and 5' 6" 120-lbs, I used to put a ton of food away each and every day. We would have a full breakfast, (yes eggs and sausages, etc), a sandwich probably for lunch, a large dinner, (supper), at around 7.30 - 8, and then a snack at around 10.30 - 11 pm; usually something like sardines on toast, Welsh Rarebit, Cheese & Crackers, etc. If we had gone to the pub or a movie then we would probably pick up some fish & chips afterwards. I must have had hollow legs in those days! Now I don't eat a quarter of that, and I'm considerably more than 120 lbs!
