My BIG Christmas project/gift...completed

Postby Lizcordysmum » Dec 09, 2008 10:12 pm

this is an appliqued and machine quilted wallhanging for eldest daughter. It is called "Waiting For Christmas" (the old story about when midnight comes, all the animals can talk.) (and yes, I had a pattern.)

When I found the red material I was truly thrilled...because on Oct 28th this year, I took a picture of our sunset, and it was very very like...we do not get vivid sunsets like this, too often.

Wow, that is just beautiful. I can't sew for beans, as I never am sure what hand to hold the needle/crochet hook/whatever in.

What size is this?

That's a beautiful wall hanging Liz! And the sunset is almost the same colour!
