My BIG Christmas project/gift...completed
this is an appliqued and machine quilted wallhanging for eldest daughter. It is called "Waiting For Christmas" (the old story about when midnight comes, all the animals can talk.) (and yes, I had a pattern.)
When I found the red material I was truly thrilled...because on Oct 28th this year, I took a picture of our sunset, and it was very very like...we do not get vivid sunsets like this, too often.

It is very like the sunset Liz & so beautiful.Should I put my order in now,or wait till
next Sept...I want to be the first in line.

Wow, that is just beautiful. I can't sew for beans, as I never am sure what hand to hold the needle/crochet hook/whatever in.

That's a beautiful wall hanging Liz! And the sunset is almost the same colour!
