That sure is as black as any flower that I've ever seen. Is it in bloom now?Very interesting to say the least. Edie

It is in bloom right now and I got it at home depot 6 weeks ago. It had 2 blooms when I bought it now it has a third bloom.

It's beautiful; imagine three or five, growing in the centre of a patch of whites or pinks, or oranges!
Hope you know, Otnorot,, that since you posted that you got it at HD, I've made it a point, to check there, every week. Scouting out the (sick) plants; haven't seen a single calla, and the girl said they would not get them in until just before Easter. Boo hoo!!

Lulu I was lucky because this was a new HD that had just opened and I went there for something else and saw two pots of these callas and since I'm hybridizing callas I wanted this color no matter the cost.
