Hi there.
I don't have Comfrey seeds, but come Spring I can get you some root. They sprout very easily,in fact the more you cut it the more plants you'll get-lol.I have a back yard full of the stuff.I also looked at your list and I have a white Rugosa rose(single) as well,if you're interested.

That would be great! I would love the rose too!
So I can root cuttings from the comfrey after it starts growing? That's a good idea, good way to get lots.
Do you want something from my list in exchange? I will email my address to you.
Thanks,
Sheryl

Hi Sheryl.
No problem for either plant root,at all. That is,if you don't mind waiting 'til Spring. The Comfrey root, cut into pieces will make [i]many [i]plants. The Rugosa root will spread,so you may want to confine it somehow.

Lol Brian . . . at the "many little plants". How 'bout "once u get some Comfrey goin' u can't beat it to death with a stick"!
When I transplanted some to the new yard I deliberately put it out on my 'wild' bank amongst the Dame's Rocket. These two invasive 'heavyweights' are abt the only thing that will keep each other in check.
Gotta luv the 'maintenance free' aspect of them tho!

That's good as I plan to use a lot of it! I'll make 3-4 cuttings to the ground throughout the summer to use for feed and fertilizer.

Hi there,
While out roaming the emerging garden today I noticed the Comfrey starting up.If you see this, send me your e-mail and snail mail so I can send some roots along.I tried to send you an e-mail but I'm not a member of Garden Web.I did see your list though and would love to make a trade.

I makes a great feritlizer for the garden. I'd like to plant an entire row of it and cut it a few times throughout the summer to use as mulch on the veggies.
