Re: SOUP.....survey
Probably should have voted for one, but didn't want to hold back the enthusiasm that the soup generates so went with three. Dial-up can be a pain with even just text somedays.
Yup, agree, hope Savona jumps back in with Patty for soup time.

Yeah, it'd be great to see Savona-the-person-not-the-horse back, Inge.

Hi Everyone. . poking my self in I see just in time . Nice to see there is going to be "Soup" this year. I have high speed now, but think 3 should be sufficient and fair for all. Better get those photos in order.. .

I'm all alone up there...I voted for one picture per flower/plant/veg, per alpha-letter/per poster.
I don't have dial up, it would break my heart if I did, and couldn't participate fully.
I say, pick your absolute favourite for the Soup. If you want to share ALL of your glories, then start a separate thread.
I am delighted to hear that Soup is coming back, and fingers crossed so that Patty and Savona will be back. They do Good Work!

I agree! It forces everyone to choose the "best" to share (and saves us dial-uppers the non-deliberate snub of not being able to participate.

I have high speed now but I will always remember the agony of dial-up so therefore I voted for 1.
But I do feel that since the change in format has limited the size of photos (a very good thing IMO), 3 may be more manageable now than 3 was before.
Do you not find in interesting that only odd numbers were chosen vs any even numbers for the poll?
That planting rule of odd numbers only can be broken occasionally you know, especially for a poll. LOL

Huh...never even thought of that Betty!! I guess I'm still planting in odd numbers!!
We picked these #'s, actually, because they were the ones most commented on last year, and so far this year.

I know, I just find it interesting that as gardeners we seem to think in odd numbers - or are we just odd?
