Ordering Seeds?

Forget the seed catalogues. Trading seeds is a great way to expand your garden with new plants, flowers, fruits, vegetables, shrubs, and trees.

Ordering Seeds?

Postby Yamaha_gurl » Jan 30, 2009 9:50 am

I'm a newbie to gardening, and looking to purchase some seeds. If you need to purchase seeds, where is a good place in Ontario that I can order-online?

Thanks :D

I know there is a link around here somewhere but I'll be darned if I can find it. :x
Look through the offerings here and see if anything strikes your fancy. Most are offered free or for the price of a stamp. :D

I can't say about Ontario seedhouses in particular but I have ordered from Park Seeds and from T&T. I liked both of them.

Thanks all....I think the biggest on-line store would have to be park seeds, very informative too! :D

Parks is huge, and like you say, lots of info. Some of their stuff doesn;t ship to Canada though. Seeds aren't a problem but they don't ship live plants. Make sure to check the fine print, I think it's on their FAQ's page....

That's ok, I plan to buy some inexpensive seeds only...seeing as I'm a newbie I think I'll try that cheap stuff first :P
