Ok, I'll start, simply because I know there'll be many specimens of this clematis shown. And they'll all be far superior, But I'm thrilled that it is continuing to survive in my yard. It is Jackmanii, of course.

I haven't been through my Js yet, but wanted to make a comment.
Northpine: Your Jackmani looks like a Jackmanii Superba. Much larger and brighter flowers than the regular Jackmani. I had both in my last house, and they were really quite different.
Earwig: I also have a Jack in the Pulpit, which I adore, (it's in the same area as my Epimedium, which I also love), but I've never taken a picture of it! Should do that this year if it has survived!i

Love that Johnny!
I have Stellers jays but you've seen them before, and Jimmy the Hip whom you've also seen before!
I've also got an old Jackmanii but very very foolishly cut him to the ground last spring AFTER he had all his lovely buds on him...so had a pathetic display last year. Daughter advised me to cut, forgetting that I have earlier springs than she does. I do not know why I listened: I know better!!!
SO. I shall sit here and sulk and mutter "too many cooks spoil the broth!" something I do NOT believe for an instant! GO People's GO!
