Peace lilies toxic to cats?
Hi everyone. I was just wondering if anyone knows whether peace lilies (red) are toxic to cats. One of my cats has nibbled on a couple of flowers. Thanks

Here's a list of plants poisous to cats. Peace Lily is one. However, I don't think the plant you are referring to is Peace Lily. Does the red part look like it's plastic?

I wish I could recall the name of that plant. I'm going to move this posting to "Houseplants". You should get more replies there.

The plant with the waxy red flower is an anthurium. The peace lily is white, I think it's a spathiphyllum. As to whether they're poisonous for cats, I don't know. Edie

Edie, thanks for posting a list....
seems I forgot the link.....

Your list does show Antherium, so best to keep it away from your cats Sassie.

Thanks everyone for your help. It was very much appreciated. I have gotten rid of the plant. It was a birthday gift.
