Bacopa flower
I have bacopas in my outdoor hanging basket, but am wondering if I can root them, and bring even a little bit of it inside, and plant it so I can enjoy it during the winter. Has anyone done this with bacopas before?

Re: Bacopa flower
Yes, you should be able to do that with Bacopa.

Thanks, how long does it take to root? I have some in a juice glass full of water by the window. I do not have the rooting powder.

Do you still have the original plant? Bacopa will root redily along the stem where it touches the ground. I am not sure how long it will take to root in water.

Hi alll,
I took two cuttings. One is doing fine, and is growing roots, as well as still blooming. The other is dying. They are in different glasses. What have I done wrong? elizabeth24

Probably nothing. Sometimes it's just the luck of the draw.

That's the second rule of gardening.
Rule number one - patience
Rule number 2 - If at first you don't succeed, try again.

Re: Bacopa flower
I have over wintered the whole plant before by putting it in a window in a very cool room and in the spring took many cutting in soil. I lived in an old farmhouse ,so it was easy to find a cool room. coulysue

Thanks for all the info. I have not been able to post lately. I have been able to read the posts only. Every time I try and post, it takes me back to the forums, even though I am logged in. I am putting this here, incase I am not able to post this on FEEDBACK. Have a good day everyone.
