Forum Email problems - update
Hi, folks
Been a long time since last update. We have updated some of the email-sending configuration on the forum yesterday (Wednesday). This should improve the delivery of registration emails and PM notifications. Please let us know if you notice a more even flow of e-notys from the forums.

Re: Forum Email problems - update
Thanks Dmitry.
I know it was totally coincidental, but about an hour or so after I sent you an email about e-notys, and our frustrations, I started to receive e-notys for the first time since March!!
Thanks for the update. Let's hope some of our lost friends will now return to this once-vibrant forum.

Let's make sure it's not a coincidence. Anyone else started receiving notifications sometime yesterday afternoon (Wed)? Anyone who 'lost' that ability since the upgrade?

Hope everyone does let you know what's happening with them.
I believe EVERYONE lost their e-mail notification; also some lost the ability to even log in; some had to retype email and password every day; some had to do it several times a day.
Good to see you trying to sort this out Dmitry. It's much appreciated.

Oh, lucky Liz!
I think this is the info Dmitry needs - who received, or nor received, what!!!
I see that Jazz posted today, the first time for months. By the sound of it she couldn't even log in.

Way da go, Dmitry!
First e-notey since April 28 pinged into mailbox Wednesday @ 2:05pm, 5 months to the day and music to my tin ear.
Something else that's working again is the search engine. When I did a search for "birdhouse", I could actually open a thread from September 2008! Couldn't do that for the longest time. Or so it seemed. laff

Hey! I just got my very first e-mail from CG.
Now I just gotta figure out how to stop them.
