What are the symbols?

I am new to the forum and wondering about the symbols on the left-hand side of the forum list. There is a circle with whaa looks like blue writing or red writing or rolling writing. Then there also is a circle with an i in it. I can't find anywhere that tells me what these are.

Blue means no new post since your last login.

Red means new posts since your last login.

Rolling writing means a very active topic.

A red star means a thread you've participated in.

Well thanx Skwij. I always wondered abt that 'scrolling' in the circle thingy.

The circle with the 'i' in it???? I'm noticing that Kelly didn't just leap in there and explain that. I'm thinking that it has something to do with the IT crew onsite.

An asterisk in the circle thingy means that u have posted in that thread.

That one is used by admin and mods to make an announcement of some sort. Essentially i is for Important!
