TCAdops and corrupted keychain
OK, I don't know how this site is doing it, but it corrupted my Keychain Access Saved information for this site.
It placed my password as my email address.
Keychain is a Mac application that stores your online logins, and other stuff, to be made accessible as needed. A website that is running correctly should NOT be able to modify that information WITHOUT me authorising it. I did NOT authorise a change in my Keychain.
Earlier today when I was browsing, I got a TCAdops error that popped up in Safari.
Coincidence? I think not.
Fix the script error, and get the logins working, please. We're losing members left right and centre, and a lot of previously-active posters either gave up, or simply cannot get on.
This needs to be fixed.

Re: TCAdops and corrupted keychain
Every single time I click on a link, or even to post I get the TCAdops error again.
Perhaps this is a clue as to what is wrong with the forum and logins, and the general sluggish behaviour?

Today, for the first time, I'm getting this with maddening frequency. Until one clicks on the OK button, everything comes to a standstill! I've bitched enough about this forum and will just try to keep my cool!

It seems to be occurring with increasing frequency. . I keep getting "Waiting for tcadops"..... and it's quite annoying. I see Liz is having the same problem and probably others as well.

I love this site and all the wonderful people here but am wondering if it is dying a slow death. Please, please, please fix this site.

Yes pretty annoying but you will get used to the glitches after a while. We old-timers have been dealing with this for years in one form or another ....

The glitch, from my end, manifests itself as an inability of the page to complete loading. It won't allow me to complete a reply 'til I stop the process of loading manually.
Here's the error message I'm getting in Firefox.

Mediocrity begets mediocrity IMO!
If we're content with mediocrity then that's what we'll get.
What a great little forum this used to be; some called it old fashioned, but it worked, and was easy to use.
We got dragged, kicking and screaming, into this new format.
I'm sticking to my opinion that CG were conned into buying a shockingly mediocre 'bill of goods' and seem to be powerless, or unwilling, to do anything about it.

Tara has sent this issue to IT with high priority so it should be addressed quickly.
