The remainder of my Orchid

Few months ago my orchid got damaged (Kids and plants don't belong in the same house). I've been taking care of it as normal, and now it seems as if another plant is growing on the stem of the dying one.




Low quality pictures, but anybody know what I should do? Cut it off plant the growing one? What should I plant it in, the moss in there has seen better days.

Slightly hard to see from the picture, Basically just a second plant growing from the browned stem of the first plant.

That little plantlet growing from the flower stem is a keiki . A baby phalaenopsis orchid
You can free it from the stem and plant it in orchid mix like the parent plant is in . Be careful not to damage the roots on it .
Keikis are cut below and above the stem, leaving a small piece of stem on the baby plant.
