Forum woes

Postby OGrubber » Jul 26, 2011 8:26 am

What an exciting time logging on I've been having the last while.
When I try to log in, I get one of the following;
- If I'm lucky, "retry" after I'm told the "information has already been sent" will get me in on the second log in attempt.
- If I'm not so lucky, the page just refreshes itself over and over
- Or, I'm taken to a page that tells me the forum I requested does not exist.
- Or, I get a general 405 error page [I think that's the number] where I am "unauthorized to view the page" and/or the forum has "declined" my access to view.

Being persistant [some say stubborn], today, "post new topic" gained me a log-in.
I have to wonder how many others are unable to log in, or are my woes just an isolated problem?

Inge,
I usually do not have any problems accessing the forum but in the last week I have got some of those same errors which I had never seen before. I figured they might be working on it and thus resulting in the forum being unstable.

Thanks Betty,
Maybe that is all that's going on. Just hope it sorts itself out soon.

It may just be wishful thinking on my part though as after all, you can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs

Ooops Sorry! Forgot to report back to the troops! Tara says there was some work being done on the test site which should NOT (theoretically) have affected this site. It appears that it did though and she will be looking for more information from IT.
