to be honest it was scheduled for today, but one of the techs had a family emergency and they needed to postpone it till thurs. So that is why Lyn and I could not enter the pool! Lyn said something about insider trading......

I just want to put some good energy out there for the tech's and the work they do.I am very grateful to have this board and hope they know that thier work is appreciated.

I'm sure there's a huge collective sigh of relief and anticipation for those of us who have weathered the 'storms' on this forum.
Let's hope the changeover will be effortless and painless.

I'll save my rejoicing for when they have successfully made the changes.
I do hope the wait has been worth it and look foreward to Thursday.
I really haven't had any trouble on here except for the PIA having to log in via the back door to read latest posts , and sometime again to make a comment.
It would be nice if they surprised us with the addition of a live chat feature .

Wishing you a successfully seamless change, terrific tech team!!

Fervently hoping that this won't be a "clean slate" endeavour. Would really miss searching for material collected since the last change in November 2008. Also, a serif typeface would be very nice.
