Seems to me there has been some minor update and/or fixing to the forum. Not 100% sure yet though.

So chances are they were tweaking things while some people tried to log in maybe.

The forum is still oh so slow for me sometimes. Also, I cannot use Safari to access the forum. I would have thought this should have been fixed by now.
