Ficus / Weeping Fig
I will post this on the "houseplant" forum too but thought I would pick your brains! I have a ficus that is probably about 5 to 6 ft. tall and has just two main branches. I would like to prune / clip it so that it will get a little "bushier" Can I do that now? and are there any special tips or tricks or do I just clip where I want?
thanks to all for your experise as always!

Re: Ficus / Weeping Fig
Everything I read said you can prune this tree anytime (but prefers it at it's rest period).
I also read not to cut back more than 1/3 total or you will cause problems with it (disease/death).
There are a hundred sites and quite a few youtube vids on this.
Here is just one link

You might want to watch a basic pruning tutorial or read a pruning book so that you use the proper technique. It will survive a hack-job, it just won't look as pretty.
Be careful with the white sap that exudes from the cuts, sometimes it causes irritation.

Oh wow. I was so surprised when I saw Dumbos post on this thread. I thought he was back until I saw the date on his post.
Come back, Dumbo. If you are lurking and reading this, I will even give you my new avatar. Kinda reminds me of you...lol...
