Amaryllis in bloom

I decided to take some photos of my Amaryllis last week, it's such a beautiful flower. It was a gift from my brother a year and a half ago. Such a beautiful flower, I thought I'd share on the form.

Thanks! Sadly the blooms are already dying for the year. It was beautiful while it laasted.

Believe it or not but the Amaryllis is blooming for a second time! Nice surprise. I didn't know they bloomed twice.

I love your Amaryllis Belinda, I`ve never seen that color before. I have about ten or more Amaryllis. Some of them are red and some of them are pink and white. I cross pollinated them and planted several of the hundreds of seeds that I ended up with. The plants are 3 years old now and I hope to see some blooms this year, if not, then next year...cheers.

Wow LWard, I admire how much work you put into collecting the seeds. I didn't think of doing that even though I do it all the time for my outdoor plants.

I always wanted to get an amaryllis, but never did. Now looking at your stunning photos, I definitely will!

That's a beauty and they only bloom a second time if they are looked after properly. Don't lose that green thumb.

Pink Amaryllis are awesome. Actually I liked three of them and also the photos which are too good. I hope you could share some more photos with us. Cats are also enjoying there.
