How many hours we can use the grow light in one day?

If i use a grow light in my tent, how long should i use the light in one day is better?

What do you mean in a tent? Is this some sort of thing you have in your house? Or an actual tent outside?

Also, what type of plants?

Are these just the standard vegetables or some standard annuals/perennials?

If it's just standard stuff, then around 14-16 hours total.
