Yup! We can now sit on the deck or down by the firepit.
And since my bedroom window is on the other side of the house I wouldn't hear Jeremiah!

Looking very good Lyn. We have just the tiniest pond, with a small waterfall, in a corner of our patio and it is a very restful area to relax in. The frogs love it - unfortunately the garter snakes do too, or do they love the frogs?! Not seen a toad yet.

Wow, your space is looking terrific. Nice to see all the hard work pay off! I'd love to do something similar (ie. remove more grass, add a sitting area beside a water feature). I imagine it drawing the family into the garden, but the only way I'll get them out there is literally with a pencil and sketch pad and "draw them in the garden". Have to keep this is mind for a future project...for me to do and me to enjoy.

It's a great space Tammy. The "kids" love it. We spend a lot of time out there when the weather is good. The little boys love to be outside too. The next big addition will be a gazebo on the deck so we can enjoy the yard when it is raining. That will be next year since they come with a big price tag!
