Love your garden Clara. Lots of love and attention has gone into it. Your peonies are spectacular.
I have absolutely no luck with poppies. I have a large plant, it grows beautifully, but doesn't produce any blooms. In 6 years I think there have been two blooms. Fortunately I managed to get a pic of one of them one year!!!!!

Thanks Brenda, yes we planted everything, this was just a field when we came here and built the house.Your peonies are spectacular.

I can grow peonies but have no luck with Clematis except I have two Clematis Recta (not the climbing kind) I also have "Sweet Autumn" which I really like but thats it.I brought several Clematis from our other place but they just didn't survive, don't like the soil I guess.
I always admire your many Clematis!!

I can see why Sword Dance is your favorite peony. It is spectacular! Your gardens are looking so full and lush Clara. I love to see Dictamnus bloom and run my hands over it to release that citrony scent.
