What with dreadful weather, a camera that just gave up the ghost, and the frustrations of losing too many things I loved in my garden to last winter, I have not taken many photos but, I have hijacked my son's camera and started anew!

Yes, BBQ, I didn't go with any pale or pastels for some reason (possibly that horrible winter). I took a shining to orange/blue/purple/yellow combos this year and a side order of neon pinks. I am such an impulsive shopper in the garden centre - if it looks bright and sunny, I want it!

I don't tend to put many annuals in the garden beds these days, well maybe a few fibrous begonias, but I love to do flamboyant pots and baskets to act as jewelry around the place.

The sun is finally settling in and we are getting some growth and more flowers now.
