Rare Flower
I bought these Tigridia Bulbs in early spring , Was surprised that Food Basics had them . There was only one box and I got them. I saw these beauties in Ecuador 3 yrs ago and now I have them in my garden!! I missed the first bloom 2 weeks ago and this morning I noticed this bloom so had to snap a pic even though the sun was too bright.
Will try to get a better pic later today. Hope you enjoy as much as I do!

Re: Rare Flower
Really pretty! I found some bulbs I like today but I'm not sure I want to plant bulbs now, I'm afraid it might be too late in the season for that now. There's always next year though.

Re: Rare Flower
If that colour is true then it's a gorgeous one!
I really like a colour statement. I do like the pastels for close-up viewing, but when you're looking for punch in the distance then a colour with 'zing' is the way to go.

Re: Rare Flower
Thanks Lyn and Kara. Brenda ,that is the true color. I missed the first flower, only noticed it when it was closed up so i don't know what color that one was. There were 6 bulbs in the box, maybe all different colors.
