hydrangea

My hydrangea took quite a beating last winter, but it has recovered well and with the warm weather finally arriving the flowers are starting to open up .

Wow! Very nice Hydrangeas, Dave. Endless Summer, right?

I saw some of those on the weekend at Canadian Tire and wanted to buy one but unfortunately, there is no more room in my gardens. *sigh*

Hmmm....maybe I could get rid of some plants I have too much of.....hmmm...

I have no idea what variety the hydrangea is. It is one of two potted hydrangeas I bought my mother for Mother's Day.. After the blooms were done in the house, Dad planted them in front.. One did not survive, but the other did.. It has been suffered severe winter damage a few times over the year, and as you can see has spread some from layering itself.I can't remember how long ago I got them, but when I did , they had the largest blossoms I had ever seen on a hydrangea. That plant is approximately 20 years old now .

So you're saying there's hope for my two teeny tiny hydrangeas? That would be awesome if they ever got that big!
