Plant Identification
Hi everyone,
I'm new to this site, my fiance and myself just bought a our first home and we are starting to get into the the gardening thing a fair bit. We bought an older home that has been somewhat neglected over the years. As I was cutting back the Alders that have taken over the edge of the property I found a shrub inside and am wondering what it is? If anyone could help that would be great.
Oh! We are in Newfoundland if that helps.
here are the pics.

Welcome to the forum .. You can see your entire pix by right clicking and choosing "view image". . It is a quirk of the forum to initially crop larger pix when posted from one of the net photo handling services like Photobucket .
Sorry , I can't name your shrub for you ..

Looks a bit like forsythia to me, but it's the wrong blooming time. Perhaps you'll get a better idea once the flowers open up?

Here's a couple of pics from the Net. This is steeplebush, aka spirea tomentosa.
Easily found by googling.
