Joan!
When our forum friend 'Joanie' died I planted a Day Lily in her memory. It didn't seem to make an appearance last year so I thought I'd lost it. However, it's here this year, and I took this picture just a few minutes ago.
Here's 'Joan Senior'.
I remember dear Joan with fondness. She had a generous soul.

Beautiful tribute to your friend, BBQ. To me, it's a very tranquil and serene lily which would put a smile on your face whenever you see it. Nice.
I love having plants in my gardens that remind me of my long lost friends.
We even have a furbaby graveyard with a garden angel looking over them. Forget-Me-Nots grow around them in the spring.

Oh, that is a truly beautiful tribute Brenda. Joan has been on my mind quite a bit lately, I do miss her. I wonder if Pam still follows this forum?

I think we need a patio party in Joan's memory. Who's bringing the beets?

Re: Joan!
What a beauty she is BBQ!!!! Mom would be so touched as I am right now. This forum and all the wonderful people on it meant so much to her and kept her busy with her computer pix and creations and of course in her gardens...her beautiful gardens that had so many flowers, veggies and shrubs started from seeds that were sent to her from people on the forum.
Thanks again BBQ for posting "Joan".
