Should I eat my potatoes?
Hello,
First of all I would like to say hi to everyone as this is my first post!
This summer I planted my first garden. I planted old potatoes I had in my cupboard.
They never flowered but I decided to pull them out and see what was hidden underground. FYI, I planted them on June 10.
They look a little odd to me (notice the white spots), would they be safe to eat even if they never flowered?
Thanks in advance!

Hiya Bird
Not all potatoes flower so one shouldn't go by that, especially with store bought taters.
It looks ok to me. I would eat it.
EDIT:
The white spots:

I'm not sure what that is, but I've had that on my russets too...totally edible. Peel the skin off if you don't like it.

Mmmm! Those look good. Just a heads up to anyone with sunburned potatoes. They are still edible if you peel off all the green and cut out any parts of the tater that have turned green.
