What are you reading now?

Pull up a chair and grab a cup of Java for a cozy chat about what's on your mind and what's happening in your neck of the woods. This is a strictly for fun non-gardening topics.

My god. How can you read that trash, Eeyore?

From your link:

He was beautiful and brilliant, jagged and white-hot. I was drawn to him as I'd never been to anything or anyone in my life. I craved his touch like a drug, even knowing it would weaken me. I was flawed and damaged, and he opened those cracks in me so easily...

*sticks finger down throat*

He opened those cracks in me so easily

Come on.... Please don't tell me you like that kaka.

Have you ever said that to a friend in confidence? Would you even say this: I was flawed and damaged, he opened those cracks in me so easily... I craved his touch like a drug

That is so cheesy. It's so cheesy that even Kraft wouldn't touch it.

aaaah, women and their chick flics...

Dave and I will stick to reference books and encyclopedias where the cheese factor is nil.
*shakes head*

EDIT:
I can write better cheese than that cheese!

That depends on your interpretation.

You see it's like this. When I find a flawed and damaged woman, I opened those cracks in her so easily. Thus separation of the crack(s). Some require more work, thus hardcore separation is required.

No different than... say... a dentist who separates your teeth from your jawbone. I guess.

No different than this separatist guy from your link:
I was flawed and damaged, and he opened those cracks in me so easily...

What's a different term for someone who separates cracks? That's right. A separatist.

If I keep saying it enough I will even eventually believe it.

No, its worse, lol. I've read it. Much preferred 50.' Bared to you' was course and crude and predictable, didn't like the flow of the relationship or story.

Did I mention he has a helicopter? lol

This book is intended for mature audiences.

So Dumbo this book is not for you. Although I highly recommend it for your wife. hehe

Both those books sound like they would be high on my "Don't bother even reading the jacket blurbs " list ... Just reading Marcs quotes make me nauseous. I can imagine the effect the books would have. I'm sure you gals could find a better grade of porn with a little searching.

Just goes to show the differences between men and women I suppose.

Dave, when I created a new account while playing a bit on this forum, I just now discovered they have new terms for using the forum that I have never ever seen before. The word "porn" is a no-no. Please adjust your attitude.

It's called "romance".

I'm not sure what to call the "opened cracks" though. That's a tough one.

I find you a tough one to read at times. And that scares me.
I figured I was going to get chewed out.
You are not predictable.

He doesn't have a harley, he has a helicopter with his own heli pad...on top of the building he owns. And he doesn't drive, tsk tsk, he has people who drive him.
And when she turns him down to work for him, he buys the company she goes to work for...and fires her boss and gives her the top job!
