Re: Miniature Garden
Exactly what I am thinking...scale is way off! Lol!
Maybe I should just put up a shed in the "wasteland" and put it by that! LOL
But then I don't need a shed.....lol
the raised garden idea might work......if I build it like a "model" garden.......hmmmmmm.......

Re: Miniature Garden
You could do something like a "model train village" on a raised table on your deck.....

A dog house. Get one of the kids to make it from scrap wood. Paint it all cheesy and there you have it! A mini house with a mini garden. Then you will need a mini pathway with a mini mailbox.
uhg, then you will have to shovel the mini-driveway for the mini-house. BUT, then you get to put mini lights for xmas.

I wouldn't worry about it. That is, unless a sexy female dwarf moves in.

Leprechauns are hot!
So are there any pics of mini-gardens with dwarf flowers that you've seen on the net to give you idea's? Got links?

Re: Miniature Garden
Not really sure I understand how miniature you are wanting to go, Kelly.
Are we talking dwarf plants? in which case, a bit of screen fencing will go a long way in creating a "zone" within the scale of the rest of the gardens.
If you are talking tiny, then you could create a hanging garden using the framework of a wreath [from craft store], wire up the centre and pack the whole thing with spagnum and soil ...

No, Marc....just something tha's been playing in my head as I've worked in the greenhouse...talking to people about small space gardening and seeing all the dwarf varieties now available....
Which leads me to Inge's question....Dwarf varieties...so essentially I could have a massive mini garden......
