I think you're just upset at not thinking about planting all grapes along that thing, and now you are wondering how long it would take to clear all that mess up to do it. Bet you are even scared to tell your better-half about it cuz he would think it's a great idea! Not to mention the great wine you could have along your new thingy that is just screaming for grapes.

If you're referring to the smokebush, and sunburst locust, they are there to block the neighbours ugly pool and their speedos. So they are staying! Taken 3 years to get to that height and just starting to fill out to give us privacy.
Just slapping pictures of grapes all over my photo is not realistic. I thought you were giving me constructive advice or landscaping help, and I was really trying to figure out what I should move. But all you are doing is being silly and I'm rather disappointed.

CC you should know better than to take anything Marc says seriously. He's a big tease and a flirt!
Besides Grapes just encourage whiteflies and it would be really unpleasant walking through there in the summer.

The grapes would be a great attraction for all the Raccoons in the neighborhood. They harvest ours promptly....just when they ripen nicely and leave a mess of half eaten ones on the deck.Make your wine at Winekitz....much easier. Joy

Deep down inside I know that you know how right I am. What you built is perfect for this.
Bugs
*head-slap*
I swear half the women here are afraid of a bug and they push this fright onto kids. Many here even wake up with the sole purpose of squishing them. Freaky stuff.
Now.... go plant grapes.

ooh, I like the Dominant in you. Off to go plant grapes, Sir.
Actually I already have grapes growing on the fence, but they are old and grown through the fence to neighbours side. And they are small, purple and sour. Not to my liking. insert puckered lips here.
So, Sir, do I plant new grapes, and ignore old ones, and what variety?
