I really enjoy that Island. Did you spend the night there? Something special to wake up to the sound of the horses going down the street....

We stayed in Mackinaw, not on the island. Frankenmuth was the next day & supper @ the Bavarian Inn.

Sounds like you took the same tour.

We drove around that lake back in 2006 with another couple and did those stops.

Did not stay on the island on that trip but went back in 2008 and spent a weekend there.

It was a bus tour.
