Re: My 6th dose.
Nice flowers Joy.
Wow that's a lot of antibiotic in a year,Not too good on the system it also kills the good bacteria.
Maybe once you're done with the antibiotic it would probably be a good idea to use some probiotic either in pill form or yogurt. It would introduce some good bacteria back in your system.
Yes Lee I agree, I also prefer natural remedies when possible.
I read that Apple Cider is good for many things you need to get the unpasteurized ...
I've tried it before, But prefer to put it in apple juice still a bit strong but more drinkable i find.

Hi Mary-Jane: I trust when you describe use of apple cider that you are talking about
apple cider vinegar because if you are only refering to apple cider it is not the same as
the vinegar & will not produce the desired results. Nor will diluting the apple cider vinegar with just apple cider instead of water to make it more drinkable.

Hi Lee,
Yes I was talking about apple cider vinegar, Sorry I forgot to add the vinegar word to my previous post. But that's what I was talking about...
Some folks add 1 tbsp of honey to it with their 8 oz glass of water to sweeten it a bit with added benefits.

It is best to use unfiltered, unpasteurized vinegar because it has not been heated and therefore retains live enzymatic properties.

Another thing I read before is that a person's body is to acidic, Therefore we need to alkaline our bodies eat and drink more alkaline products apple cider vinegar is considered alkalined.
If our bodies are too acidic, There is more chances of fungus, infection and even cancer enjoying and living in those areas compared to more Alkilined bodies.
Google Alkaline foods and see, Cabbage is one I make coleslaw with it with minimum oil and sugar.
Garlic is also a good natural anti-bacterial, Be careful if you take blood thinners, As garlic also thins the blood.
A word of precaution!
It's always best to ask your physician first if it's safe to take any Home remedies with your already prescribed medication in case they interact...
Sorry for the confusion Lee in my previous post.

Re: My 6th dose.
Apple cider vinegar is an acid with a pH of 4.5 -5 ( neutral is pH 7, above 7 is alkaline) Stomach acid is between 1.5 and 3.5 by comparison.
I won't argue benefits of cider vinegar , there are a lot of anecdotal evidence for its value healthwise , but I do take exception to the claim it is "alkalizing"
I'm afraid the voodoo health claims of our bodies being too acidic (or alkaline) and that it can be changed by diet are just that ....mumbo jumbo with no basis in fact.
A diet rich in vegetables and fruit, "good fats" and proteins , low in "bad fats", is definitely good for us , but neither that nor a diet of junk food is going to do much to change our "body pH".
I did some searching on "body acidity" and came up with this : http://www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRel ... oral2.html
along with several "eat this , do that " type advice sites to "fix" our body acidity "problems"
Blood has a natural pH of 7.35 to 7.45 ... slightly alkaline.

Re: My 6th dose.
I guess no matter the subject there are a myrid of opinions. In my case Iam only concerned with what actually works & avoids drugs. I have little faith in today's physicians. I waited 4 mos. for an appointment with a ear, nose & throat specialist & his only suggestion being to double the manufacturer's dosage for a corticosteriod nasal spray. Another physicians recommendation was to use the decongestion drug Sinutap. Reading the manufacturer's disclaimers use of this drug would put anyone at risk for liver & kidney damage....a worse situation than plugged eustachian tubes preventing inner ear fluid accumulation. This product should be banned. As to the apple cider vinegar, when I first started using it I found nothing nice about the taste or odor. However, after several weeks I have actually come to like both. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
