What are you reading now?
Re: What are you reading now?
Just got a digital copy of Ken Follett's new book Winter of the World which follows up his Fall of Giants.
Will start reading it in a couple of days... once I finish The Altman Code.... book 4 in the Covert One series.

Same here! I've just read a couple of pages so far. We're staying in a lovely little cottage in Warwickshire, right next door to the church where the parents of Shakespeare were married. It's very old but lovely.
The family who rent out the cottage are really interesting and nice people. They live in what was once the 'Vicarage' and they completely renovated and restored this beautiful little place.
The wife, Jillian Fraser, has written a book "More tea less Vicar", based loosely on the family's village life. I'm trying to read that too as there is a copy in the cottage. Tried to find it on Amazon but so far no luck. Would like to get it in digi form so that I could get back to Winter of the World.

I could find the paperback on Amazon but not the digital.
Did you ask her if it has been put out in digital format?

I just started reading the Fall of Giants this week, Ken Follett. I am totally engrossed. The book is very thick though, like 6 inches, hard to read in bed when it weighs a ton. Really enjoying it so far.

I'm thinking that 'The Fall of Giants' just might be the book for me. Find so many enjoyable books are far to brief and this will keep me busy.

Re: What are you reading now?
I have just finished "Before Versailles" and "Blackberry Winter". I won both of these on Goodreads. I found Before Versailles somewhat tedious until about the 1/2 way point. Blackberry Winter was a simple read and somewhat predictable.
Tonight is bookclub and we will choose between 3 books so I don't know what I'll be reading next.
I have Pillars of the Earth on my bookshelf but haven't gotten around to reading it yet.
