We have friends in England that are in the process of moving to Canada. How many yrs. does it take to get the visas and whatever papers you need.

We came many many years ago, so the rules and regulations have changed enormously.
My husband was offered a job, which he accepted, and we filled in the necessary papers, went to Canada House in London for an interview and medical, and we were on our way to Canada in about 3 months!
