Cardinal Dad & his kids
The young ones are getting bigger now and Dad looks like he's ready for a break!

I know its a serious job raising teenage birds, but that is just the cutest darn photo. Do you think the juvenile on the right side is male, and the one on the right female? Anyway, love this photo, and yes Dad looks like hes had it up to here!

Re: Cardinal Dad & his kids
lol! Punk hairdo!
Kat, I'm thinking the same thing with the one on the right being a male. I've been watching these two for a while now and the other one isn't developing those bits of red feathers like that one. And he seems to be the more adventurous risk taker compared to his sib. Or, the other one could be just trailing behind..time will tell!
Dad is so that fed up. He keeps bringing the pair over to the feeder as if to say; make your own darn lunch already! Mom Card is around but I guess she figures she's done her bit and is happy to let Dad have the kids now.
Thanks Ron, Kathy, CdnChelsea, Mary-Jane Kat & Clara for taking a moment to share a comment; glad you enjoyed!
