My Brug

Postby Millie » Oct 24, 2012 2:34 pm

Hi All,

Just before I went on a pilgrimage to Holy Land I brought in this Brugmansia. Well when I came back all of the leaves fell off but the blooms are still on.

The fragrance is very strong at night as it is in my computer room.

Now I have a question don't know if this is the right place to ask but can someone recommend a site for saving photos. My Photobucket will not let me in as I forgot the password and have too many accounts already signed up.

Something easy please!

Hi Millie:

Nice to 'see' you again.

Have you tried Flickr or Irfanview. I also had to give up on Photobucket as it refused to recognize my password. I've been successful with Flickr.

Microsoft offers storage on their Skydrive for storing files of all sorts.
Google also offers their free Picasa photo handling program and web storage space.
Shutterfly also offers free online photo storage
Irfanview is great for viewing photos in virtually any format. It allows easy photo file format conversion and resizing, but no online storage.

Thanks Brenda and DavefromBC.

I remember Irfanview from 2001 when we started posting pics and Flickr I just started but it only allowed me 300 MB. Way back I tried Picasa and for some reason it didn't work out for me.

Will have to wait for next month to add more photos on Flickr or find another program for web storage.

Thanks again.

Love those flowers. I wish I had room to over-winter Brugs. They are spectacular.
