Pretty, but I sure don't want to see that white stuff for a while.

I took the seed catcher tray off the bottom and gave it a good brushing - should be good for dining now.

I'm with Dave. Iam approaching my 82nd winter & snow does not thrill me anymore.
Is this a jaded attitude or not ?

No...not at all, Lee!!! Fewer winters than you but even with a new snowblower the thought of snow makes me cringe.......

Re: Sorry, Birds!
We are now contemplating purchasing a snow blower - after 17 years up here in the snow belt of BC - it's just getting harder and harder to move it all! And we are only 53 yrs old, but our bodies are not what they were....

Re: Sorry, Birds!
I just did my annual maintenance on the lawnmower plus sharpened the blade then stored it for the winter. Moved the snowblower out of storage, put gas in the tank, plugged in the electric starter, primed the carb & it fired up as soon as the engine cranked. So that ugly machine is ready to do it's thing. I also have two Toro leaf vac/blowers. One is set-up for vacuum, the other I leave for blowing light snow. It takes it right down to the bare pavement & I will often use it after I have had to use the snowblower which does not remove snow to the bare pavement. Saves having to have a sack of sand & de-icer laying around taking up room in the garage. I do have a bag of road grit if I get desperate. Last thing I want is somebody going tippykanoodle on my sidewalks.

Please Lee could you come put my lawnmower to bed and lube and oil my snowblower???? LOL
I am only a few years younger but not having a hubby to help, the snow moving was near impossible...well not really just took a long long time. Fortunately oldest son took up some of the slack last year.......
