Please tell us all about gardening in Scotland. How long is your gardening season?

What are your favourite plants?

I have never been to Scotland so that's why I ask...

Thank you for welcome.

My garden season is now coming to an end when everything now comes to a rest .

Leaves have been stunning the colours are amazing this year. But soon shall be dropping their golden leaves.

The garden has had its winter tidy.

New spring bulbs have been planted .Fuchsias all pruned and resting but are growing new shoots already.

But when I cant garden outdoors I can garden indoors in my sitootery my conservatory.

But I rather like the name sitootery ,all my geraniums have been taken indoors for added protection for the winter.

And my Orchids are my other pleasure which are now in rebud mode.

The two most beloved geraniums are in house under lignts, and so is a new very orange one. So is a potted plant called
Italian Rosemary" which is gorgous if properly cared for.

Pls forgive lousy typos, I cannot see very well. soon to be fixed, I hope.Lots of stuff in flimsyy old greenhouse, Gerberas blooming, rosemary in blossom...BC west coast here, climate similar to G Britain..gardens ,Micrro climbed, somewwhat.

I check out the Scotsman, every day...if you have better links, I would appreciate, very much. BIG Scots community where I live n BC/Canaada' west coast.

Sorry cannot type better.

Welcome Scotkat! I am no Scot, but definitely like all things related to gardening. Thanks for sharing the pics.
