Beautiful beaches even though there is still a lot of debris to clean up.

Seeing those pictures reminds me of many years ago when I first visited Cancun. Mexico. I arrived right after a hurricane struck the area. I was shocked to say the least.
There were upside-down airplanes all along the edge of the airstrip when we landed. Sure didn't make me feel very safe as we taxied along the runway.
Many resorts and their piers were destroyed and there was giant shrimp boats washed up on shore. There was devastation everywhere you looked.

But, after a few months with the help of a lot of locals and volunteers, the area was slowly being brought back to its' former glory.

Mother Nature sure can make a mess, can't she?

Nice pics Ron. All refreshed and raring to go in to the lead-up for Christmas!
We enjoyed our week in Antigua and felt it recharged the batteries a bit.
