Grass Seed & Frost

Postby 06Honda » Apr 15, 2013 5:31 pm

I have a little grass seed to do this spring and would like to know if cooler temps or even a frost will effect this. I live in southern Ontario. Is there a best time to do this in the spring. Thanks.

I would put grass seed down just about anytime now. It's a self-seeding perennial . . . and can handle Ontario weather. Even down to frost.

Watch tho sowing it before a heavy rain. If there's enuf rain to create puddles it will float fresh grass seed.... and maybe float it away from where u want it.
Adopt the pace of nature, her secret is patience.
