It depends on the annuals. Some are hardier to the spring chills and are out already, like pansies and petunias. Others are less forgiving and will suffer from a late frost or the temperature drops that come at night. Since its early June, if the annuals are properly hardened off and no longer under protection at the garden center, then it may be ok for them all to be planted now. For true tropicals, I'd wait a bit though. I think out average last frost date is approaching next week. After that I'm planning on setting out the tomatoes etc.

Turns out our average Last frost Date may have passed. Personally, I have lost things before to a late chill so I'm still going to hold off. Here are the dates posted from CTV News.
NOVA SCOTIA

Yarmouth…May 1st

Halifax: May 6th

Kentville May 16th

Shelburne May 16th

Sydney: May 24th
