My hydrangea is getting too big for my small garden I will have to dig it up and transplant it. When would be the best time, in the fall or the spring. Is there any special things I should know? :D

Pee Gee hydrangea are paniculatas.....they bloom on the current year's growth....so you do not necessarily have to move it.....you can prune it back quite severely to a small size in the fall or early spring and it will bloom for you next year...
If you want to move it, wait until late fall when it goes into dormancy or early spring before it breaks its dormancy....
