My cabbage has no heads!

Postby ipita » Jul 15, 2013 7:28 pm

Hi fellow gardeners,

I just planted my first vegetable garden. In April I planted some Early Jersey Wakefield cabbage, and it is now July and they still do not have heads on them! I think I may have planted them too close together, and they are also in a very sunny spot. I also live in Vancouver. I cannot seem to find any info online that gives me a certain reason why this has happened, nor can I find out what to do about it. Is it too late? Someone please advise. Thank you!

Give them time .. They will likely start heading up soon. Keep them well watered in this heat
