Question about Iris and Asian Lilies

Postby GreenCaro » Sep 02, 2013 12:25 pm

Hello,
I have planted some Iris and Asian Lily bulbs and the beginning of the summer. This is the first time I'm trying. The Iris did not thrive very well. When they came out in the summer, not all of them produced flowers and the bulbs that did we small and weak. The Asian Lily flowered fine but like the Irises, not all the bulbs produced flowers

My question is: can I leave the bulbs of both type of plants in the ground? Will they flower during the springtime if I do that?

Thank you

U must have planted them well!

I don't always expect Iris or Lily planted in the Spring to flower that same season. Tho I did get lucky with one new Iris this year. :)

Both can stay in the ground over the Winter. They will come back better every year.
