This warm, intimate book is grounded in solid research and contains a great deal of useful information, including the cultivation and proper harvesting of herbs. There's also a well-organized dictionary of commonly grown culinary herbs, with at-a-glance and more-detailed information about each one, followed by recipes. The photographs are by the talented Turid Forsyth, who's another regular contributor to our pages. A satisfying book.
